What the chip does is remove the speed limiter and change the shift points. Odds are you wont notice much of a difference in the fuel economy, but that depends on how you drive it once you have swapped the chip.
Turner Motorsports, and ECS Tuning carry chips. Look for a well known retailer like those two when buying a chip. Their are a lot of fakes on ebay.
