Okay, so I got a good look at the rear, and it seems the coils and pads are okay. So I stared at everything for about 4hrs this morning. Finally, I noticed that the inner bushing on my left upper control arm didn't look right, compared to the right side. GAH!
Somebody please take this piece of s*%# off my hands, and relieve me of my misery.
I guess the bushing is shot, but I won't know if that's the cause of the creaking noise till I replace it. Bentley manual indicates it's not a hard job, but I can't see how there's any room to get the mounting through bolt out, it's so tight & cramped in there. If anyone has experience with this, I could use some advice . .
