So I change my door panels, my OBC reads over 100 F degrees, I converted my car from a 1 speaker set up to a two speaker set up and everyone is more interested in my shifter facing the reverse direction? (scratching head....lol)
I reversed it myself because its much more comfortable when I run my car in manual sports mode...which i do often. It also feels more natural this way and my right hand and fingers are more closer to my radio, OBC buttons, window buttons on the driver's side, Steering wheel column levers, and AC controls..... 
I'm surprised no one had done this mod yet....try it and you'll see it makes a world of difference! 
Yeah...some BMWs prior to 1996 came with the 6-button OBC...I was pondering doing a conversion to the 18-button OBC...it could be done but the DIY looks frightening.......
