anybody know how to get the trim off?
I need to get all the chrome trim off my car and fill in the holes (temporary) so that the body wont rust from seaweed growing in there. It is not possible for me to keep the car dry at this time. Anybody?

I think they are supposed to just clip in, so they should be able to just clip out.
Try this. Pop open your hood or trunk lid and look to see how they are secured on the backside. If there are nuts, then you can just undo them. However, I don't recall them being fastened on. i am pretty sure that they are just clips.
Note that you might have to replace the clips when putting them back on.
Good luck

at the ends of each piece is a small nut that has to be removed from behind the appropriate interior panel....after those are removed, use a screwdriver and a piece of cardboard or something to keep from scratching the paint....simply push under the trim and lightly lift upwards, it'll snap off the plastic retaining clips
also...all the trim's aluminum, with few exceptions, not chrome...so careful, it bends easily
