I would say don't bang it out, leave it as is, and just keep an eye on it. If you try to bang it out, you may end up weakening the floorboard even more. If anything, have a competent body shop have a look at it first.
Also, there's wiring and stuff running through the driver's side rear floorboard, so check that there hasn't been any damage to that.
