My dad is a BMWCCA instructor, did some SCCA instruction for others, and was instructor for Audi Club USA, he has been tracking his whole life, his BMWCCA # is two thousand something..which is amazing, ive gotten lessons for the past 3 years in the canyons about 3-4 times a month.
now fo rme practicing running from the cops, its more of looking for spots where i can pull out, and i practice just like torque said "going normal then punching it", except i push it as hard as i do when i race, sometimes harder, and i will pull into the spot, see how fast i can do that in.
it might sound rediculous, but it does help to have a plan. and worse comes to worse, ijust keep doing the canyons all night, or go onto the coastal highway or something, my car looks just like any normal car, and its black, so it isnt really that easy to just spot, not like my old bimmer.
But yeah...anything else i can help you with?
btw, the road that takes people to the beach(the main canyon road i drive), it will take people about 25 minutes to get to the beach driving at a decent speed, now my friends when they drive fast can get to the beach in about 10 minutes...
now for me, with a half tank of gas(less weight), i can get there in 6 minutes and 37 seconds..that was set with my bimmer, i havent tried to beat it yet with my saab.
