hi, i am a new member so any dummy question please excuse me!!!
i have a e39 ..my problem started months ago when key fob( diamond shape ) stopped working..looked in this forum and followed all procedure still no gain....finally i saw advert on e bay stating that they will change my micro switch and replace it with rechargeable battery ..so i sent it to this company ...they returned my key and presto it works all good.......until today...same problem has started again no key fob working....what could cause this? anyone had any idea? my silly guess is remote control signal receiver?? or is my key failed to charge from ignition?? is there a way to check this? also there is a green cable in my trunk next to the battery ....its like saying to me to pull it.....so i did ! can that cause a problem? are there any other fuse to check for? sorry for all this stupid question but i guess others wont have to start a new thread again.
