I have a 2005 "55" reg X5 that has only done 53000 miles and it turns over but more often than not it takes well over 5 seconds to start and sounds awful, on one occasion "Trans failsafe mode" message was showing. I have had the car back to BMW the battery was changed and a drain test was carried out but the problem still persists, before i take it back and they take another arm or leg can anyone give me an idea of the problem. . . .
