Wisconsin's the place. I have a White 1989 325i convertible automatic(I'm lazy). It is a sweetheart with 159000 on it and no rust to speak of. It has a somewhat crappy paint job from a previous owner. But checking the usual bad spots there is no rust to be seen, i.e. rockers, quarter panels, spare tire well, etc. I did replace the rear seat as the stitching was coming loose and the leather was hard on the upper back. The bottom was scratched up by an animal's claws. I also had the driver's seat repaired on the seat bottom. Whoever had it had a large dog and it liked being all over the interior. The flip top appears to be nearly new. The stitching is nice and white and the rear window is clear and unscratched. It does have a small oil leak of some kind that leaves a few drip spots when parked for a while. I need to come up with the little hydraulic lifters for the convertible top frame and the convertible top cover. They want to fall down while putting the top down or up. The top is Manual. It takes about 30 seconds to put up or down.
