1996 328is - The external temperature reading on the on-board computer readout is stuck on -34 degrees F. I'm thinking the sensor is bad. Anybody have an idea of where the sendor end is located? Obviously, it plugs into the back of the computer but is would be helpful to know where the sensor end is located so I can route it properly.
These external temp sensors must wear out at some point in German cars. I also have a 1993 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 Sportline Limited Edition (I know, I'm a sucker for punishment...) and the external temp sensor consistently reads 18 degrees low.
