I am in the process of acquiring a 1990 735I. My wife rescues animals, I rescue German cars. I have downsized to 1 1979 MB 300cd, which is her commuter, and my friend has had this black BMW for about 6 years, but it has been sitting for the last 3 and it needed a new home where it would be enjoyed. It has 192k on the odo. He replaced the head gasket, water pump, O2 sensors, struts and front suspension at about 135-160k so I'm hoping she's good to go with some new tires and a couple window motors and an A/C conversion. I'll be posting a few Q's when I get her home and start tinkering. Looking forward to tapping the brains of the Bavarian enthusiasts!
