i had a 2005 325xi and used this tool all the time it works great i have just bought a 2006 325xi and will be buying one. anyway to have a dealer hook up to the obd II port it will cost you 60 to 80 $$ this tool will do what you need and you can reset your service oil light so 2 times you use it it will pay for it self hope this helps
