"Good luck, let us know how it turns out."
>>My little Em is in the shop having all the little things fixed, so that she is almost showroom, except for the stereo. I had a top-notch company put a new system in her that cost me a little over $5K. I have an Alpine MP3 player that fits beautifully where the cassette player used to be...connected to an iPod in the glove compartment. The stereo also plays bluetooth music and relays my phone signal. I have two JL Audio 100W speakers with, full crossover to the tweeters in the door, in the kick panels and two Alpine 100W speakers with attached tweeters in the back. In the trunk there is a 500W JL Audio sub-woofer, installed in a custom-built enclosure that takes up a section of the left rear trunk area. It's almost invisible as it's covered with the original trunk liner carpeting. Finally I have a 900W JL Audio amplifier on the drop-down wall of the trunk. I can remove the amp and sub-woofer in about five minutes if I need to.
I have to say it's a big kick to pull up to a light in my little BMW and blow the ears off a car full of teens: lmao ....with rock or opera or reggae...anything but rap!
