The expansion valve and dryer have been replaced with new parts. I have evacuated the system and it holds good vacuum, but the little amount of r134 it would accept made the static pressure go to 110 psi. When I jumped the compressor to get it to suck more, the low side psi went to 160! Im stuck. Any ideas? BTW, is there no high side port in this system? Thanks for any input.
I am having very similar issues trying to charge my system. We have the same car as well. I wanted to ask, how do you jump the compressor off? Do you have to jump off the compressor to get it working? You charge the adapter closest to the firewall, right? I have had people say both. I have two service ports, one close to the firewall and one close to the receiver. I imagine you have the same. Which one are you charging? Have you gotten it to charge yet?
