Hi, im new to bmw's i have only owned one for the last 3 days now. I own a 2002 325i bmw very good condition and only ran 74 000 miles. The car has been sitting in a car lot for over a month now until i came and bought it 3 days ago. Anyways i woke up this morning and turned the car on. The car started shaking for a about a minute then it shut off, 2-3 contact attempts later and the car turned on and ran smoothly all day.
I decided to take it up to a garage and check out the issue to get it fixed. The ODP scanner wouldnt read all the components. It read everything except for the motor and transmision issues.
Now im kinda worried about it. Does anyone have any sugestions and if an issue like this might be costy?
btw the genius i bought the car from washed the motor with motor for some smart reason..could this have had an effect?
