My 525 experienced power failure to the windows, locks, radio, sunroof and on board computer again. Last year I replaced a relay under the back seat, part #601.576. There are two and I don't remember if I replaced them both. It corrected the problem. Now it has resurfaced. On occasion the windows will work as will everything else and then stops. If I let sit for awhile they work again. When I got in the car today the interior was warm and nothing worked. Could the relays need replacing again? Is there some other underlying problem that may be wearing out the relays? Six months ago the #25 fuse in the main fuse box in the engine compartment melted. I had the break the fuse out and clean the contacts. The fuse operates the auxiliary fan. Upon replacing the fuse the fan worked again and has been fine since. But I now have the other problem again. Could the fuse problem have been somehow related to the window problem even though the fan now works and everything else does not? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
