I have a 1997 328ic. My soft top is depositing flakes as big as 2 square inches of very thin plastic. I'm thinking it's time for a new top. The top I have now has a plastic rear window, but I have seen glass ones.
My questions are; would the top with a glass rear window work on the year and model that I have? And what the heck are the pieces of saran wrap like plastic? I need some guidance.
