The other day I pushed in the cig lighter and the console started smoking, so I pulled out and it looked like there was no damage done. Later that evening I went to put the top up and it wont work. I found that a brown wire had fried and the switch to the top. I decided to press the emergency release lever because its supposed to rain, but the storage lid wont unlock. You could hear a couple of clicks when the release was pulled but the storage lid will not budge. I need help fast it's suppose to rain thursday. Thank you
