Mine had similar malady . Ended up being ' tired and toasted ' ECU - electronic control unit - which I had to get replaced and new set of ignition keys obtained . Cost me NZ $700 ! All this after I was told it was probably the fuel pump - and that cost me NZ $ 450 ! ! ? Car going fine now though .
