Love to. I have for my my daughter a 1996 328i that has the infamous RTAB trouble, and scrubbed off a new pair of tires (to the steel wire) in about 3000 miles. The quotes I've gotten for repair are everywhere from more than the car is worth to way more than the car is worth, or to stick some tires on it and sell it to someone else who doesn't know any better (like, apparently, me).
There was a post, I think from 2006, from Dudesky, that explained a way of doing this repair DIY style, and didn't actually look that hard, even for a relative novice like me (with the proper supervision). But the pictures from the write-up are not hosted any more, or for some reason are dead links. Is there any way to retreive those pictures, then I can do this repair (with some expert help) and report back to this forum what issues we encounter, and how it comes out.
