The problem you have is associated with the Lighting Control Module. On a right hand car the module can be found behind the kick panel on the lower right hand "A" Post. It might be in the same location on a left hand drive car. The High Power Switching FETS have failed and they are located on the PCB inside the lighting module. It will be very expensive to replace the module at approx £250 or US$500. Replacing the FETS is much cheaper and is a specialised job because the FETS are soldered onto the PCB, I have successfully repaired 2 cars with this fault.
