My name is Josh I'm from old man winter's bunghole, better known as Fargo, North Dakota, think Siberia you'll get the picture. I currently drive a 1988 Mercury Cougar Blue Max edition, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the 82-88 Cougar its basically a 5.0 mustang with more legroom and trunkspace. It has quite a few mods and is quickly becoming too much of a headache for a Daily Driver, I have been getting about 8 miles per gallon this winter
I joined this forum because I started looking for a new car recently with several options coming to mind, so I did a search for RWD, manual transmission cars for under 10k and I came up with about a dozen 328i's in my search area. Imagine my surprise at suddenly realizing that I could afford a Bimmer, so I thought I'd find a forum and learn some more about that car. I sell auto parts for a living and turn wrenches for extra cash so working on it won't be too much of an issue, I hope as the nearest dealer is 280 miles away. I'm a Ford guy always will be, I'll probibly never sell my cat, but I do need a DD. It would probibly get parked in the summer when my Cougar can get back to 15 miles a gallon.
