I just ordered some Shock mounts and tie rods for the 330, they will be here when im back from vacation, and i figure i can do it then.
Its time to change all the bushings on the front of that thing. They are all worn out. This is the begining to what will be a long drawn out process of making the 330 handle like it did when we got it.
Already done are the CAB, and Control arms.
Next comes the shock mounts and tie rods.
After that i will get new front Pilot Sports(they are all gone. 9k miles | : )
Followed by under drive pullies to help me coop with my dreaded power steering pump that puts to much pressure out.
After that im thinking about having a shop do the front engine mounts and subframe mounts.
Ill work backward from there. Tranny, differential and finall the rear subframe bushings and rear suspension.
any precautions with changing the shock mounts and tie rod ends on an E46?
I know ill need a shock compressor. I firgure i wont need the tie rod puller since i am replacing it. Caliper bolts might be my only challenge. Maybe ill soak the front bolts with WD-40 over night to be safe.
From what i see its the same setup as my E30.
anywho thought i would let u guys know.
