i think it all depends on the condition of the car.

an E30 has most of the neccesary amenities of new cars. Which is what makes it still a great car. Its just old now, so an unkept E30 is not very different from an E46 if you think about it.

Even the suspension has the same exact setup, just the E46 has beefier components due to the increase in weight. Same with the E36.
