Borrow the 50$ from mom, sware to pay it back, and start selling a few things on ebay and within 2 weeks you'll have that 50$. Don't start out selling big shit, people wont bid high since they can't trust you.
The detailing thing was a cool idea, 50$ for a total interior detailing. clean the leather, get all those nook's and crannies clean, get a really good glass cleaner and rain-x... oh yah. Clean glass turns heads.
