sorry for not being more active in my own thread. I've been super busy with classes this past week, and have been on the phone with so many people about this.
So this is the new as of this morning....his first three hour surgery went pretty well. they were able to start major repairs on his colon, spleen and urethra....they weren't able to get to his pelvis because they were affraid he wouldn't be able to stabalize if they kept him under much longer. So they will have to do more surgery this week to start reconstructing the pelvis. He is very drugged up right now because they don't want him to be experiencing this. He will be in ICU for a while so I won't be able to see him for probably a few weeks.
I just heard on the new a few hours ago that....your never going to believe this....the drunk driver of the boat was an LAPD officer. The LAPD is sending people up to Santa Maria (the city where the accident took place) tomorrow. Santa Maria PD called my friends dad and told him that no slack whatsoever will be given. So that is good news.
