Hey Guys !
So I bought my 2001 330I a few months ago and didn't get a second key, big deal I'll just go to the dealer and get a new one ordered...WRONG! Well I went and the BMW dealer ordered me a new key with the cars VIN, and it doesn't fit! They're trying to tell me that the previous owner changed the ignition cylinder and in order to get new keys I would have to get a new one...
Obviously I'm not retarded, you can just get new keys for the new cylinder right ? Are they trying to fuck me over, whats going on? I really need help and advice, perhaps even from a BMW tech. PLEASE !
