Well I figured since I've been here awhile and still haven't really introduced myself and I haven't really gotten to know anyone I thought it would be cool to see what everyone's background is and what they do.
I'm from a military family and moved around alot when I was young. Now I'm studying Marine Engineering Systems at the US Merchant Marine Academy. Basically I'm training to become a glorified mechanic. Here
this will give you an idea of what I'm going to work on.
Also my first and only bimmer so far was the one I rescued from my parents, a e30 325i. Even though my family is the third owner of the car it still runs great and only has 222800 or so miles on it. Basically working on the car has made me appreciate bimmers to the extent that I never want to own another car. My goal when I graduate is to simply rebuild everything and maybe add a few mods instead of buying a new car.
Anyway so that's it for me what about all of you?
P.S. if you were wondering, the merchant marine is not the Marines... I don't see why so many people get so confused.
