Hi everyone, this is my first post to this forum. We are a German auto-shop located in New Jersey and have been in business for over 30 years. We recently were doing some cleaning up in the shop and came across a few brand new BMW transmissions that, despite our hardest efforts, have not been able to be identified. Attached I have several pictures which include all markings on the transmissions body. It is a
ZWN GETRAG transmission What we do know is that it is a manual transmission and the head mechanic seems to think it may belong to a 5Series (1988-1989).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
