Problem is, the E30 M3 really doesn't look like it could be bought outright like that. But then to the untrained eye, one might say the same thing about a Saleen Mustang or a Gemballa Porsche. Beemer, Bimmer, I don't even care anymore to correct people. Before any of that stuff, people already have in their heads that BMWs are snooty, so they'll always have something to say about them anyhow. In my experiences with people, it's pointless to explain yourself unless you get them in the car for a drive. They don't care about a history lesson . . to them you're just showing off your money.
