4 door M3's ftw. i think its a great idea. having 4 doors is more practical, which is what BMW really is...practical. outside of maintenance past 75 thousand miles if you have the money buying a bmw makes sence. It looks great, handles great, seats 4 comfortably(4 door..and even 2 door..but more so four door), has all the extras you dont get with other manufactures, and well the driving experience.
I think the 2 extra doors just add to the car. Anyway..if you dont want a 4 door, just buy a coupe.

I hope you dont mean that bmw's have
only been about practicality. sure they are practical machines but that is really not the focus of bmw's design. If you want a fast car, but want four doors, buy an m5. If you cant afford the gas in an m5 or maintenance, then you dont need to be buying an M at all. Get a 525.
