and decided i would go on a drive.
left the house at 7.30am. Came home at 1.45pm.
drove the entire time. First took a drive over Butts canyon road from where i live to the Napa Valley. From there i took a back road named st. helena road to Santa Rosa(sonoma county). from there i took a road out to the coast and drove for an hour.
Then i took a side road that i knew conected back to the area i came from. It was a 60 mile back road.
every part of the run was windy back roads basically. Amazing. Im fatigued from all the driving, but its a good way to straighten things out in your head.
highpoints of the drive included
-flying by a cop at 75mph through a small town on highway 1. Somehow i didnt get a ticket.(there was no speed limit posted on the road)
-getting her sideways purposely on highway 1 around a very wide open hairpin turn. DSC was on...
-the 60 mile back road...this is where i got fatigued. my god. soooo many turns. It also took me into the wilderness..nothign for miles.
bah ive got to many stories like this.
anyways it cost me 40$ to do the run seeing as how i had no gas when i was done. i got an average of 22mpg just to top it all off. (not to shabby IMO)
