It works, you just have to master the art
Don't go too slow, don't go too fast, and make sure you push all the way to the floor each time, and take your foot off the pedal each time it goes up. It needs 5 deliberate, clear stomps to register. To my knowledge there is no code reader for OBD I BMW's.
