I think that the war and politics sub forum is just going to cause problems. The reason that I like UB and kept coming back was solely because of the people on here. I have found them all to be knowledgeable and courteous. The sub forum is only going to provoke arguments and insulting/hurtful comments. I agree one hundred percent with everyone who says that it should not be here. If it is to spark new threads, comments, and members there has to be a better way. The type of people that a politics area is going to attract will destroy UB. The changes have already started to push some of the more respected members away and I think that they will continue to do so. If the new mods and admin truly wanted everyone to have a voice they would have started a poll identical to this one AND NOT closed the thread attached to the poll so people could PUBLICLY "have a voice". I have never been this outspoken on any forum and most likely won't be again. I will stay around for a little while to see if the members of UB are actually listened to and if we are I will stay. I will not be posting any comments after this one and will NEVER post a comment within the war and politics sub forum. I urge others to do the same as I feel it may be the only that we will be listened to. I am sure I will get a reply from one of the new mods or admin basically blowing me off and thanking me for my opinions

. It was nice talking to all of you since I became a member and happy driving to you all.

Good Bye
edit:I just have to add this...

Even if the sub forum was created for people who enjoy clean political debate that is not going to stop it from having people who are going to say things like ummm.... idk maybe "who's better - a palestinian or a jew
the answer here is pretty obvious no?" and from a moderator! I also must say that if the new mods and admin are equal members to everyone else shouldn't someone who was one of the first members and has over a thousand posts opinion be a little more relevant then a brand new member who has moderator or administrator status who has less then 50 posts?
