Personally, I would do something that is transferrable to the private sector upon completion of enlistment. You may make a career in the NAVY, or you may not. Cover your bases. Anything grunt related limits your post enlistment options. A degree would help neautralize that, though. But, I'm sure whatever choice you decide will work for you. It's really a personal choice. Do what you feel is right, indeed.
