clutch problems..

So i was going down the road today about an hour ago and i was at a stop light. when i tried to accelerate once it turned green, my clutch was stuck as far back as possible to the floorboard and i could not bring it out. once i was finally able to pull it back to normal, i luckily managed to make it about 30 feet in neutral to a gas station. i believe it was my throwout plate for my clutch. once i was parked i played with it a little bit. i pulled my clutch out a bit and then i pushed it maybe an inch or two and it pushed it's way all the way down to the floorboard again. i haven't looked at any parts but what would i need to get? throwout bearings? any help would be appreciated. thank you.
