Post need help with engine starting

hello everyone. i have not been on the forum in a long time because my bimmer has been disabled for a while. its an e36 328ic. i decided to purchase a honda s2000 when the bimmer failed me and it has just been sitting for the last 4 months. in early january my bimmer stopped working. i would turn the key and the motor wouldnt do anything. everything else seemed normal though. i came on here and got suggestions but none fixed it unfortuneatly. so i ended up putting a new battery in it...didnt fix it, then i put a starter in it (it was a bitch)....but it still didnt fix it. i found out what the problem was eventually. it was a loose ground! one the the guys i work with stuck his hand down there and wiggled the ground and found that it was loose. all i had to do was tighten a bolt, i felt like a dumbass. i had just put 200 dollars into trying to fix it haha.

anyways let me get to the point. the car runs GREAT, but it has a problem starting. when i let the car sit overnight, then try to start it, it will just turn over but not start at first. if i keep holding it and give it some gas it will then start after a couple times. then once its started you can turn it off and on with no problem. does anyone know what the problem is? it isnt throwing any errors on the obd2. i was thinking mass airflow sensor at first but the car idles well and runs fine once its started, and i tried starting it with it plugged in and unplugged. now im leaning towards maybe the fuel injectors. could it possibly be the fuel pump? thanks for the help.

by the way i never like honda and im a huge bimmer fan, but the s2000 is an amazing machine.
