BavAuto has some stronger alternatives but they do not fit in the same spot. Go to
BavAuto and search for cup holders under your year and model.
What we did in my mom's car is we took out the cup holders until the new one came in. Removal of the front is done by a Phillips screw found once the cup holders are "open". The back is the same. After that, just wiggle it out. Real easy.
