Go to Ebay. You can get a Remanurfactured one for under $1,000 with a 1yr warrenty. Then call around your area and see who could install for the cheapest. Shouldn't be more than $800.00 Labor. So $1,000 + $800.00 = $1,800. Not bad considering that my wifes Honda Passport Tranny was $2,200 Parts & Labor. These ZF4hp Trannys last a long time if you service them properly and keep the fluid CLEAN. You will get less service in the 7 and 5 series compared to the 3 becuase of the weight ratio.
