Welcome to my world Dski - good review btw.
A tip when faced w/multiple EQ settings - instead of adding more high end to offset a "too warm" factory settings - try "subtractive EQing" dial some of the low end and low mids out, besides thinning out that too warm, it'll also give you more head room.
