I'm finishing a 14 month overhaul of a '87 325e (spare time project). I'm down to a few electrical issues I need help with. The Brake Check light in the overhead panel is continuously on. I've checked the tail light housings and connections, repalced the check light switch module (mounted in the trunk) and performed wire checks for grounds. as nick said...check the brake lining sensors. Mine wasnt attached the the rear control arm right and was almost ripped out while taking a turn..causing the light to occasionally flicker due to conection problems.
it could also be flickering because the actual bulb in the instrument cluster is loose.
