Hi Group. I found you from a link of another forum group.
I have to admit that I used to avoid BMW because of the pretentious reputation and yuppie image that many people equate it with. Then I drove one and immediately recognized what sets it apart and earns it "Ultimate Driving Machine" status. These cars are awesome!
I just acquired a '94 325is from a friend who lost interest in it and hid it in his garage, abandoned, neglected and, literally, used as a storage shelf for boxes, bags, etc. He kept telling me there was a Bimmer in his garage that he could no longer afford to upkeep that hasn't been driven in over 2 years and I didn't believe him. One day I made him open the garage door and there it was; a beautiful black coupe waiting to be loved.
I told him, "give me this car" and after he agreed I replied "no take-backs". This car has 81K miles and was only driven/owned by him!
