No, I left mine on my car... but on this car, the bolts sheared in half in the brake carrier when I was putting them back on. I guess they were too old, but anyway... getting the sheared bolt out of the caliper carrier was a bitch, so if you are just starting the project, buy the $1.76 bolts. It'll save you a couple of days.
