To answer the last questions:
The motor I have IS from an E36. Unless they lied! I'm no gearhead, but I think I know what I paid for. How similar is the s52 to the E36 motor? The car I ran against was a v8 camaro that was highly modified and not even street legal. (I looked like an ant next to his car.) I spent a total of 25 grand with TMS 3 years ago. From what I recall, I think that motor price was about right. I will go dig out my receipts though now. Thanks for the compliment too and I'll check out Technique tuning.
