^^^ i keep finding that a lot of companies do the same thing, exaggerate a problem. for example, i read that the rear shock mounts should be replaced by ones with a tapered design, because after a year, the rubber on the old ones gets nasty. well, they looked fine to me, and are probably original (16 y/o).

anyway, it kinda makes sense, but i would have to agree with dudesky.

maybe if you were rebuilding it, or going to the track.

is your shifter sloppy now?
