I would imagine insurance would be less, but I don't know about cheaper. My 540 is worth about 30K and if I add 6K for a S/C plus labor, bigger brakes, suspesion, etc, I would be looking at 40K. I could get an M5 for 40K stock. The S/C would give me only a bit more HP than the stock M5. A tough call. I think a S/C would be fun.
Does anyone make a turbo for the 540i?
