again, a 323i 5 speed with a good driver who can actually drive a manual should be as fast as an autotragic camaro. hell, my previous 318is could keep up with the late 80's version v8 auto. the difference in straight line speed will be very small if at all. the bmw is also built for high speed cruising at on the autobahn.
there's a reason chevy discontinued the camaro after all. the bmw 3 series has been the leading luxury sports sedan since it's inception. it's the only car to be named to C&D's Top 10 cars for the last.. 15 or 16 years running.
