took her out to the shop again. and this time they suggested they take the driveshaft apart to check for problems.. i don't really want to do that as they still haven't figured out whether its the driveshaft, u-joints or other sneaky bearing. the unfortunate thing living here is that there are a lot of people who are very experienced with japanese cars but they tend to shy away when it comes to the beemer. the agent here is very friendly and helpful but their approach to fix this problem is for me to throw money at it and just buy a new driveshaft. experience tells me to follow the agents advise but i dont want to do dat till i have exhausted all other options short of rebuilding the driveshaft and the u-joints at a risk. thanks for your help, it was much appreaciated.
