I remember the u joints r riveted together. just realized that maybe the shaft was already calibrated and balanced from the factory, and the mechanic probably forgot to get the shaft back to the same alignment. wat do you think?
I hope this does not affect the integrity of the new parts that i have already bought, particulary the central mounted bearing.
Actually bad u-joints will destroy the drive shaft bearing. Well it destroys what holds the bearing in place. A good repair shop should tell you where you could get the driveshaft rebuilt/balanced.
