i guess if you consider new pads and xdrilled rotors an 'upgrade' go for it, if it needs to be done as maintenence anyway, why not sped a couple extra bucks and go for the 1337 xdrilleds =O
This is more of a question between doing a brake job cause you need it or just saying fuck it an geting a new suspension.
To be honest with you... even if you keep the stock calipers you can still feel a noticeable difference... just immagine if when did the whole thang!!! I'm speaking from experience... stock rotors, you can feel them slide alot longer than aftermarker but I would say get the Xdrilled "&" slotted rotors along with Kevlar pads... and anything for safety is not a waste of money...
